Yamaha Virago single carb manifold kit P901 XV700 XV750 XV920 XV1000 XV1100

I have made a deal to get these manifolds direct to you. Unlike other manifold kits being sold on the market this one was designed with equal length runners and is flip-able to run the carb on either side of the bike. This design is also less intrusive on leg space like the other manifolds.

This auction is for one manifold in bare steel straight from the factory. Interior / exterior clean up of the intake and or port matching will be up to you. It come fresh off the welding jig with very little clean up done, they give the port welds a quick once over and that’s it. The pics on this page are of one I had cleaned up to be powder coated.

Your bare steel one will not look that nice in bare steel like below. The pics of bare steel below are after hr+ of clean up work. If you want one that clean you will need to use my other auction. See my other auctions if you want it cleaned up nice like below and or powder coated. There was also a slight design change in version 1.2 how the tubes are welded together. [pics are of V1.1] Visually there is little difference but it does make for less interior clean up and smoother transitions.

This kit is not for the weekend novis.

Even though other kits being sold may have an inferior manifold design you may want to go that way if you need a complete install kit.

But if you know how to use a wrench you can save yourself $3-$400 easy.

Plus your bike already has two of everything you need.

Question “what carb should I use?”

To be honest, as of right now there is no one carb that folks can use. Any 38-40 or 42mm carb should do like the HSR40, HSR42, Qwksilver or rejetted stock. They all will perform well if tuned properly. But I don’t have any more suggestion then that. I don’t do anything but sell them. If you don’t know how to tune carbs then your better off spending $5-700 on a complete kit from like KJS that will be almost dead on out of the box. As I don't or won't have suggestions on tuning. That is all up to you, if you don’t know, spend the money on a complete kit like the KJS. This is all the info I will ever give.

Guys who know bikes and carbs won’t have a problem, folks who don’t, I don’t want blaming me when they get lost in the details. Don’t ask for tips as I won’t give them.

My bike is in many parts getting worked on but here are some quick mock up pics I took.
The carbs is a stocker I borrowed for the pic.

Top down view of each side so you can see how far the stock carb will stick out.
Bought as wide as the engine but its low location and angle doesn't get in the way of any leg space like the other manifold kits being sold.
